Donna Clapper’s ground floor, two-bedroom suite at RiverBend will 
be the perfect home for her and her furry four-legged companion, Tucker.
When the Prince George resident began looking at new housing options that would take her from her long-time single detached home in College Heights to something smaller and more convenient, she knew a solution for Tucker had to be part of the package.
“It was the biggest selling feature – that they would take my dog.”
Pet friendly options, coupled with her enthusiasm for the dog park and other outdoor and indoor amenities included at the new RiverBend all factored in to Clapper’s decision.
“I have been on my own and had been considering the idea of moving – and knew it was time.”
Clapper learned about the Seniors Community in Prince George while visiting the Pine Centre Mall one day and seeing the RiverBend Information Kiosk. She and Sales Manager Judy Kehler talked about the features of the new development, which is currently under construction, and how those aligned with what Clapper was looking for.
“The more I thought about it, the more I knew I wanted a full kitchen. I like to putter. If I get to the point where I don’t feel like cooking, I can sign up for meals.”
RiverBend offers residents flexible services such as meals, house cleaning and laundry, which can be arranged as frequently or as little as needed.
Clapper also likes that there will be a hair salon, a computer room and other community spaces within RiverBend.
